Evolving Brightwave’s branding and digital presence to grow their position in the market.
The Brightwave Group are paving the way as distinct leaders in the world of online learning – but, like many others, they found their digital presence didn’t quite do justice to their vast professional expertise.
Their old website had grown rather unkempt, and had become difficult to manage for both its users and Brightwave’s internal marketing team.
Coherence was tasked with forming a fresh strategy and a creating a new UI approach. We transformed the confusing labyrinth of information in the existing online material into a clear, responsive and user-friendly website, re-establishing Brightwave’s brand within the e-learning market.
Daring to be different.
As the frontrunners of the learning industry, Brightwave needed to stand out from their smaller competitors and leave a prominent pin on the digital map. Understanding this, we decided to do away with standard design conventions, and produced a unique, icon-based navigation system instead. The brightly-coloured menu icons gave the website a truly divergent look; on desktop, tablet and mobile screens.

Keeping in theme with our bold design approach to the site’s navigation, we carried the strategy through to the experiential design as well. For Brightwave, this meant maximum visibility of their specific points of difference; and for the user, exposure to a rich depth of captivating imagery.
